December is a magical month in our household, filled with anticipation and joy as we countdown to Christmas. One of our favorite family traditions is hosting small advent events every day leading up to the big day. Each event brings us closer together and creates lasting memories. Here’s a glimpse into our festive activities:
1. Treasure Hunt for Holiday Pajamas
We kick off the month with a fun treasure hunt! Clues lead the kids around the house, ending with their brand-new holiday pajamas. It sets a cozy tone for the season!
2. Volunteering at a Food Kitchen
Giving back is an important part of our holiday spirit. We spend a day volunteering at a local food kitchen, helping those in need while teaching our kids the value of kindness and community.
3. Ice Skating
A family outing to an outdoor ice skating rink is a must! We bundle up, lace up our skates, and glide (or tumble) across the ice, sharing laughs and hot cocoa afterward.
